Reza Food Services Company wins the “Hall of fame” Franchise Business Award

Mishaal Alireza receives the prestigious Franchise Business “Hall of Fame” award” from Dr. Eesa Mohammed Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai

Dubai: Arab Franchise Awards , which recognized the excellence in franchise industry of the Arab world announced the winners of 2022. Franchise industry leaders filled the Pullman Creek Ballroom to celebrate 2022’s top franchise entrepreneurs, leaders and their legacy. The ceremony began with a keynote speech by Dr. Eesa Mohammed Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai – about the latest insights into the importance of homegrown franchise brands and how these trends can influence the local economy and help them expand globally.

“It is an absolute honor for REZA Food Services Company Ltd to win the Franchise “Hall of Fame Award” at the Arab Franchise Awards ceremony held here in Dubai”. We are proud to be recognized as a leading food services chain developer throughout the Western and Southern regions of Saudi Arabia”, said Mishaal Alireza who accepted the award on behalf of Reza Food services Company 

“We are extremely honored to be receiving the Hall of fame award at the Arab Franchise Awards. We are earnestly grateful for the recognition we have received for our work, winning this award and would not have been possible without our customers and the management team, for whom I have the deepest respect and dedicate this award to them”, He added.

REZA Food Services Company Ltd was founded in 1994, and a pioneer of brining international food franchises to the Middle East. Reza Food Company opened the first McDonald’s restaurant in 1994 – in the Hamra store on the Jeddah Corniche. Today they exclusively own and operate each McDonald’s franchise in the Saudi Arabian region across Jeddah, regions of the KSA and centers such as Medina, Mecca, Yanbu and Tabuk, and  operate approximately 100 McDonald’s chains. 

Reza Groups, Singapore-based subsidiary organization, Lion Horn, operates 390 restaurants across Singapore and Malaysia. Lion Horn has the Developmental Licensee (DL) for both Malaysia and Singaporean markets. Lion Horn is led by Sheikh Fahd and Abdulrahman Alireza – who simultaneously bring 20 years of experience to the franchise in Saudi Arabia.

Among the winners was Reza Food Services Company, which is one of the largest developers of McDonald’s in the region. The company won the ‘ Hall of Fame’ Franchise Business Award. Fawaz Danish, President and Group CEO of Budget Saudi Arabia, won ‘Franchise Leader of the Year’. Galadari Ice-Creams Company, won the Franchise developer award outside the US. Al Hokair Group won ‘Franchise Brand of the Year – Hospitality Category’. Adnoc Distribution, won the ‘Franchise Brand of the Year’ award and Bird and Bird of the UK won the ‘Best Franchise Law Firm’ award. T. K. Khaleel of Bakemart and Gaurav Marya of Franchise India won the ‘Lifetime Achievement Awards’ for their contribution towards franchise industry. Barns Coffee operator won the ‘Best Homegrown Cafe’ award and Chaiiwala of London Ltd won ‘International Franchise Year of the Year’, among other companies. Franway of Saudi Arabia and Emtiyz of UAE won the Franchise Consultancy firm of the Year awards. Meals N More won  the most Innovative Franchise of the year award. Auto detailing company ,Green Shine won the “Green Franchise of the year” award. Raydan Food company  and Barns café of Saudi Arabia won the best Restaurant and café Awards respectively.
