In its effort to capture the ‘on-the-go’ coffee market, Costa Coffee, managed by Emirates Leisure Retail, has announced that they have entered into a two-year agreement with ENOC Group to launch its operations across 16 ZOOM convenience store outlets. This will enable customers to access high-quality coffee at high-traffic service stations located in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and the Northern Emirates. In this partnership, Costa Coffee aims to reach the daily commuter who requires premium quality without the wait time of a traditional coffee shop.
The ‘We’re Serving Costa Coffee’ outlet offers handcrafted hot, iced, and frozen drinks made by expert baristas in a compact format that is highly efficient. This marks another global trend in the convenience store and food and beverage industry, wherein premium food and beverage brands are increasingly operating in ‘non-traditional’ environments such as petrol stations and service stations.
This marks the beginning of a larger rollout that could potentially see Costa Coffee operate across the entire ENOC network of over 200+ service stations. As the infrastructure of the UAE continues to grow and more people commute between emirates, the need for high-quality ‘convenience’ pit stops is now greater than ever. Having been in the UAE for 25 years, this ‘convenience’ play is set to become a huge success for Costa Coffee
